On September 2nd, 2022, on the Dew Drinker Discord, Mountain Dew Energy (Major Melon) was first leaked as a canceled flavor and presumably replaced by Mountain Dew Energy (Pitch Black). Mountain Dew Energy (Major Melon) was based on the same flavor profile as its original counterpart but has 180 Milligrams of Caffeine which equals approximately 2 Cups of Coffee, 5% Juice, Zero (0 G) added Sugar, Zinc, and Vitamins A&C Antioxidants. Mountain Dew Energy (Major Melon) was a Mountain Dew Energy flavor released in 2023 for a limited time.
